So how was it? Feel like sharing your thoughts

Absolutely brilliant.

The visuals are fantastic as is the Gameplay. I really like the re-addition of Shotlocks, cartwheel, and command styles.

They've definitely improved magic, as well as the Shotlocks. The Shotlocks look so beautiful, like seriously. It was a little confusing trying to find the gears because after a certain time they made everyone get off the game, but fortunately I was given enough time to enjoy the full demo unlike some unlucky players.

The version I played was the E3 2016 demo, which I believe is the newest? I'm not sure, I'll have to check. But honestly, the graphics and sound were amazing.

I love the startup menu sounds the most, they've really gone out of their way with this. It sounds beautiful, and so does the rest of the demo.

The magic attacks were GORGEOUS. One thing I never used was Curaga, since the game seemed to be in beginner difficulty (which is understandable!) but I did see other people who played before me use it. I've noticed Curaga hasn't really been shown in any Gameplay thus far, but it looks gorgeous! There's all these leaf particles that fly around Aqua.

Overall, the game feels very smooth and like you're in control, unlike the original Birth By Sleep, which has been described as 'Floaty' by many in the Kingdom Hearts community. There's still that tiny bit of delay before you start to fall after aerial attacks, but it's barely noticeable. Speaking of delay, Cartwheel feels slightly slower than it used to be, but maybe that's just my imagination.

Aerial Recovery is basically bae now. <3

I think the game is a clear mix of Kingdom Hearts 2 and Birth By Sleep (My personal favourites!) and the mix works really well! I'm excited to buy 2.8 even more now, as I've got to experience this wonderfully put-together Demo.

There's only one problem I have, and it's that the Square Enix "Staff" members kept on calling the game "Kingdom OF Hearts" and I wanted to punch them. >:(

I even got a shirt!

I know this is an unrelated subject but they were selling Oblivion Keyblades for such a cheap price. I had already bought my shirt, so I was disappointed because I didn't have enough money for the keyblade, too.

I'm going to a comicon this Sunday so I'm hoping there's plenty of Kingdom Hearts Merch there.

Nice, that would bug so much if they called if of hearts. I think the cartwheel is more like kh2fm dodge roll, least that's whats It looks like to me from videos ive seen

Cartwheel even has this graphical 'sonic boom' effect on it like aerial dodge in the KH3 trailer. Aerial dash is also amazing with its effects.

I forgot to write this earlier but the speed you run around normally is really really nice, too.

How'd you react to the zoom in when the heartless appeared? From vids ive seen people look quite confused when it happens

It feels nice, however the controls are kinda weird. You try running towards them but you end up running to the side, as though you're at a forced distance away from them.

The latest build is the TGS 2016 demo version. I heard that's the one there was at EGX.
