Chatroom Interest Check

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone was interested in a different experiment I thought about this morning. It'd be a simple roleplay at first and be about random people who meet in a chatroom and become friends. Later on though, mysterious things start to happen to them. I am open to discussing what goes on, and I think it'll be really cool to have something like this

Sounds kinda interesting, but if you were planning on using the KH13 public chatroom, you'll have to ask Xam and his friends if you could use it for this RP. (Cuz they might accidentally bump in the middle of it if you don't)

 

But, if it's simply like another Roleplay, then it sounds kinda odd in my opinion... I imagine something like that Team Awesome RP in the Random Section, but if you wanna find a different way of going about this, we could totally work on it!

Well, I wouldn't mind talking about how we could do this. I was thinking perhaps we could use an app to do the chatroom parts of the roleplay, say, Kik if you guys have that. There's other things we could do too. I figured we could do that, and then continue the roleplay itself on KH13 of the non chatroom parts

Hmm... I like the idea of going between chatroom and RP thread...

 

However, I can't get a chatroom app like Kik for responsibility reasons. My parents really don't like it when I download games and apps on my phone when it's intended to be "mainly a phone device, and not a gaming device."

 

I just don't know what we can do to fix this problem on my part. I mean, if others are more willing to use chatroom apps than me, you guys can do the RP without me. I'm fine with that, though! I am kinda busy enough as it is, so I would probably end up bailing out halfway through the RP. Oh well, I guess the least I can say now is good luck!

Another concept you might look into is using something like AIM or skype to set up group rooms so that it's on the computer and/or on your phone

 

Also I could have sworn there was a way to make your own chatrooms here on site but I might be wrong

Oh yeah Skype should be good that or AIM

Since it'll involve chatroom it'll be best for it to be accessed through both computer and phone. Especially since I almost only post through phone...

Now for the rp itself; I was thinking like before that some parts happen over the chatroom (only the actual chatroom parts) while the actual parts happen here.

As for the plot, I figure it would be interesting for our characters to meet in this chatroom, and then all this crazy fantasy stuff happens to us... Since it's almost Halloween it could be like a Halloween theme.

Well, that's another problem... I can't really log onto KH13 on a computer at this point. I mean, I am CAPABLE of using a computer, but I don't feel comfortable with my family watching me.

 

Yeah... I'm really sorry that I seem like the guy with too many excuses, but I probably won't get to join. Don't worry, though! Who knows, maybe one day I'll find the Roleplay that was I was destined to be in.

I think using a separate chat room is a bit of a hassle. We can easily just create a template for such posts instead.
