Iscreamer1 100 Posted October 19, 2016 (edited) I was thinking if, like Chernabog in later releases of the first game, the Disney Villains had individual music tracks for their own boss fights, like this: Card Soliders: March of the Cards (Score from Alice in Wonderland) Clayton: The Gorillas (score) Hades, Cerberus and Titans: Hydra fight (score from Hercules, can also apply to the Hydra in KH2) Jafar: Prince Ali reprise Ursula: Poor Unfortunate Souls Lock, Shock and Barrel: Kidnap the Sandy Claws Oogie Boogie: Oogie Boogie song Captain Hook: The Elegant Captain Hook or Bad Day at Skull Rock Maleficent: Battle with the Forces of Evil So what do you think? Dave 5,715 Posted October 19, 2016 This is something I've wanted from the start. The movies come with such great scores that it seems a shame not to tie them into the boss fights as well. As much as I like the music they have, it would be nice to have individual songs for the bosses to give them their own unique feel.

They actually started doing that to an extent with Kingdom Hearts 3D. Rinzler has his own theme tune when you battle him. So did Chernabog when you gone against him in the same game. Headphone Jack 1,147 Posted October 19, 2016 i agree. it'd be nice if they at least incorporated the villain's themes into the boss theme somehow. it can lend itself really well to establishing the tone of a boss fight. the Rinzler fight in DDD was done very well and it was helped because it had an original boss theme that gave the fight a tense feeling and an air of desperation. more original boss fight themes would be welcomed. LostArtis 130 Posted October 24, 2016 (edited) idk I kind of liked hearing squirming evil over and over again during the first kh. Also, in general almost all kh3d bosses had their individual themes (granted there're only a few bosses), but these themes were repeated when switching to riku or sora and fighting the boss for the same world (for the most part, one exception is rinzler/mantis themes are different ). Maybe 2 disney boss fights for each world, one with a recurring theme, and one with a boss specific theme. also i kind of like shimomura's original stuff especially the battle themes, having all these themes be based on disney songs would make me kind bummed out lol. Maybe incorporate the songs another way, not necessarily during boss fights. this is more referring to your suggestions, not the idea that each disney boss should have their own theme Edited October 24, 2016 by LostArtis
