Nah, not really my style.

This is great and all, but would it kill them to make them available to download on iTunes as well? There are seriously no Kingdom Hearts or Final Fantasy soundtracks available on there, having a lack of digital release is only going to persuade more people to download online without paying Square.

Makes it even more special for the people who pay for the OST on cds/vinyls, I would say. :) Real KH collector items!

Thanks for this article, WayfindersDestiny!

Oh wow, those records are looking beautiful! The London Symphony Orchestra is undoubtedly amazing, and them playing renditions of beloved video game soundtracks is definitely a treat! I probably won't get it, but I sure hope all those who purchase it enjoy it! :D

I wonder how that Kingdom Hearts segment of the album will sound like? OwO

It's amazing! Definitely recommend the Symphonic Fantasies CD at least; there's also a bit of Kingdom Hearts in the Encore of it!

+1 for Symphonic Fantasies here, as well. I absolutely love the tracks on this album, and the fact that it's Symphonic Fantasies Tokyo is even better, as I felt the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra gave a superior performance when compared to the original Symphonic Fantasies concert.

Even disregarding the KH track itself, as well as Destati being part of the encore, the entire rest of the album is fantastic. Granted, I'm a massive fan of the Mana series, Chrono Trigger, and Final Fantasy, but some of the pieces (the SoM theme and Magus' theme, in particular) are breathtaking, and I'd love them even if I was only a fan of Kingdom Hearts.

I can definitely recommend all of Symphonic Fantasies to anyone who loves Shimomura, Uematsu, or just Square's general work with music.
