But what anime could make GOOD adaptions as live-action films?

 

One of the ones I hear most is Fullmetal Alchemist, which I can easily see. Flaming is imminent upon saying this, but I think Jennette McCurdy would be great for the role of Winry Rockbell.

 

 

One of the ones I've begun thinking of..

 

Soul Eater live-action movie. Directed by Tim Burton.

Just let that sink in for a moment.

 

 

The series itself already looks like it came from Burton, so it'd be the absolute perfect thing for him to do. "racebending" wouldn't really be an issue. I have zero doubt that if such a film were to be made that it wouldn't be amazing.

Johnny Depp as Stein would be a good, inevitable role.

I think anime should just stay animated. I've seen the DBZ and Death Note live action and they weren't that good....in fact they were terrible.

 

Plus what's wrong with Ouran english VA D8 I think they're awesome.

Hmmmmm....I personally believe that Trinity Blood would make an excellent live action film (I mean they could have done so much more with the anime).

 

Also FullMetal Alchemist has been talked about being made into a live movie, but whether or not it will, is unknown.

 

Samurai Champloo! OMG Yes this one would be crazy awesome! (And not just because it's got Kirk Thorton in it, and because he also voices Saix).

 

Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE would be pretty sweet. It did get a movie, but it was animated, and the length of the movie was the exact same as that of an episode.

 

Pokemon (just to see what it'd look like) but maybe do a live action remake of one of the first movies like Pokemon 2000 or Mewtwo Strikes Back.

vampire that feeds on the blood of other vampires

They were planning one with Keanu Reeves as Spike, but it ended up with a budget of somewhere near $1 billion, so they canned it.

How about none of them since Hollywood would screw them up anyways. The ones that I thing become a good live action adapted if done right(which will probably not happen) would either be Lupin III, Paranoia Agent, Samurai Champloo, Afro Samurai & Cowboy Bebop.

That was a high budget though. Hopefully they will try to make a film in the near future with a proper budget.
