So I was thinking that maybe since drive forms are returning, could it be possible that antiform will return too? A lot of people joke around that Sora will be OP in Kingdom Hearts 3 because of all the stuff he can do, so what if they brought back antiform once again to balance out the drive forms like in KH2 so he's not overpowered? And if they do, will they finally address it in-game!

Anti-form was a really bad way to balance drive forms. It becomes meaningless after getting Final Form, and it isn't like it balanced the other aspects off the game.

I wouldn't be surprised if this will be a thing, however.

Since Drive Forms are coming back, I feel like it will. That was the biggest surprise for me; I know everybody kept saying it, but I really thought they'd introduce a new mechanic. But since they're back, Antiform should make a return as well.

I hope so, as well as Final and Limit forms. Anti felt like a reasonable enough penalty mechanic to me, making sure you didn't over-rely on the drive forms too much. I do hope that it does have a bit more of a leveling up system though, since it was kind of annoying for it to be locked at a certain level while other drive forms kept getting stronger. Still, it was pretty awesome. I don't know if they'll address it in-story or not, or if they even have to, but it would be a cool equalizer to have. Maybe they might even balance it enough to a point where you can do something special to access it whenever you want, whether that be through getting Two Become One again or just adding it to the Drive menu.

I had always assumed that Anti-Form was caused by the imbalance in Sora's Heart at the time and now that he's got that balance back, Anti-Form shouldn't happen anymore.

Most likely. Anti Form was definitely a great way to prevent the player from abusing the drive forms. So, unless these new drive forms aren't that powerful but still useful in some way, I would welcome back Anti Form.

I'm personally hoping that Anti-form has a plot relevance to the series. Maybe it'd be a good diversion to see Sora and how he perceives the Darkness from a  personal standpoint.

Well, ladies and gents, from my viewpoint, I'd say that Sora should have the chance to have Anti-Form again! After all, darkness is a powerful ally! And that form has untapped, feral potential! Personally, I'd love to see it return, if not just to see how lil ol Sora handles the heat of the darkness! B)

Do you think they'll bring all the old forms back? It'd be a shame if they weren't there, but since he has different clothes it could be possible they won't. I'm sorry this is a bit unrelated, but I didn't think it was worth a whole new topic...
