Okay, i've done some experimenting about the 3ds and aparetnly ign was given information that the 3ds will be like a xbox 360, and ps3, on the go, in 3d. It may seem hard to belive with nintendo's graphics, but that means it will even be better than the psp. Here is the link if you want to see so for yourself. But i'm excited. kh3d should look great. (yes, that means this will be the first kingdom hearts game in hd.)

whoa and the best part is that it's just a bit thicker than the DSi!

Hm... I didn't know the 3DS was just as big as the DSi. For some reason I always thought the 3DS was double the size of the DSi...

3DS looks fantastic, Day one buy for me. But Im 90 per cent sure it aint HD maybe high quality but not high def.

there only one game that impress me and that was metal gear solid 3ds it looked also like the 360 but i think that's as good as it gets because you should all know by now who's visuals king in gaming hideo kojima. Also so games on 3ds look like N64 are thasn they range to end of ps2 era

you can't honstley say the visuals look as good as this

Wow, the 3DS looks impressive xD

it won't be HD, but it will be much better graphically, and will surpass the PSP

This looks very nice, my problem with nintendo though is not the graphics but the games themselves don't really appeal to me as much as they used to. Unless the games are amazing I won't buy it even for the 3D.

I'll wait a little bit and see what happens with the 3DS. I don't know if its worth buying yet but it looks very nice and could even be better then the PSP.

In 2 days they are going to announce its official release date and price. Most likely only the Japanese Release Date and Price, but that should still give us an idea. September 29, mark it on your calendars.

They need thrid party support in my mind all they got mgs 3 remake

I envision A fat Nintendo DS and me wearing 3D glasses.

I know its not the case, its just the first thing that came to my mind when I heard about it.

Hmmm well the 3ds looks more appealing but i wonder what games there would be

This is what I imagined as well. xD

I'm glad that isn't the case. It looks really cool, I may buy one. :3

Jap info just released, and a little for europe

and specs recently released

http://uk.ds.ign.com/articles/112/1124177p1.html

I just read more info about it on the net, here's the link http://www.nintendo3ds.org.uk/gameboy-and-gameboy-advance-games-hit-3ds-virtual-console/

Finally I can play Gameboy games again without looking for the charger.

It is now undoubtedly true, the 3DS kicks a$$.

Until it is replaced by something else 6 months later.

Buying nintendo products is like buying apple products, you never know when is the right time to buy them because they get replaced by something better almost instantly.

(looking at 3ds game lineup) True, but I think I'm prepared to live with that, the gameboy had practically no competition, the wii just had weak graphics, and the dsi couldn't play gameboy games, but the 3ds will have stronger graphics, it will have a gameboy virtual console, and spectacular third party support.

I agree.

And really, how much can they add to the 3DS with todays technology? They have 3D without glasses, cameras that can take 3D pictures, media player (probably like the 3DS did), motion sensing, etc. I just can't seem them making as many versions of the 3DS as they did with the DS. Possibly a 3DS Lite, but not much else (that I can see).

lol, i was just thinking about how guitar hero was panicking when they found out they took out the gameboy slot so they couldn't play guitar hero on tour :P

but the 3DS has 3d without glasses, 3d camera and an accelerometer all in one. that hasn't been done before

Exactly. They already have all this new tech, I doubt they will be able to add on so much more as to create as many models of the 3DS as they did with the DS.

good point, but they're probably going to find some sort of new gimmick to add on to it.

I'm looking forward to the 3DS, its got a good amount of developers on board for it, so there will be tonnes of great games on it for all types of gamers. It's also getting GB/GBC games released for it on its own type of virtual console, the reason I say type is because they wont just be emulated games. They'll all be remade to be displayed in 3D.

I really, really am looking forward to how developers will manipulate the 3D and use it to their advantages to make great games, just think of the possibility's. A horror game, say, with zombies for example. Now, the horror genre has sot of lost its touch a bit now, horror games aren't that scary anymore, but with them in 3D it will be scary as hell, but in a good sort of way, will give you a thrill. If a zombie were to pop out from a corner, or something out of nowhere in 3D it would really intensify the experience. Same goes for things like shooters, if they were to manipulate the 3D right you could get it so that the bullets would come straight past you, it would just be incredible.

It will be a day one purchase for me despite the fact it will probably retail for at least $350 AU in Australia. However I would like to experience playing one myself to see what it's like before I actually purchase one.
