Hey guys, I don't really like talking about depressing stuff but I dunno I just found out something pretty crappy today. My twelve year old sister's house caught on fire and the entire house burned to the ground. Thankfully she wasn't in it but she only owns the clothes on her back right now. This happened right before Christmas, so she spent her Christmas without no home. She's staying with her mom and older sister who's not even fifteen yet at family.

It gets a little complicated, because I never met her before and she only just found out my dad and I exist (her mother, I don't want to give her a bad rep but she lied and said her boyfriend was my sister's and when he's not) so it's literally real life case of long lost father and sister.

Anyway, I'm not allowed by the court to meet her which sucks, even in this situation but the most important thing right now is the fact that she lost everything. My dad and the rest of my family are thankfully going to send a bunch of supplies for support, but it's still such a terrible event for only a 12 year old to experience. It's only something I'd see in the movies.

Anyway I don't know why I told all this, but any prayers or just a simple good luck would help greatly. Not for me but for her.

My condolences go to her and your family. I only wish that she's able to enjoy the holidays with those she loves and eventually get a home or meet with you.

Well that's aweful to hear. I hope your dad and siater get through this terrible situation. But why aren't you allowed to see your sister?

It's a long story, but to make it short her mother lied to her about who her biological father is. She never knew me or my father existed. She didn't know any of that. She ended up finding out, and the news hit her terribly. This only happened a few months ago. She doesn't want to see my dad, so as a result the court forbid visitations, which includes me too although it's none of my buisness what happened with her mother and my dad. I don't want to make anyone sound evil, and I don't blame my sister for being upset, I'd be too. I'm just upset because I didn't do anything but I can't even see her. It just sucks

I'm sorry to hear that something like this happened, someone so young shouldn't have to go through something like this...

What? You can't even see your own sister!? That's seriously screwed up! Aw dang, but I can't believe that this happened to her! I sincerely hope that she'll be okay, and that she can be able to get through this experience! My prayers will be with her, and I hope you can be able to help her in any way, if you're able to! I'm sure you must feel bad for her, and I know that when she gets to know you, she'll definitely cherish you as a sister!  But for now, prayers are what's best. I shall keep your sister in my prayers!

Thanks guys, it means a lot. My parents and I are sending her a bunch of stuff for her (sadly I can't give it to her in person) but we're going to do everything we can. My dad and I are even going to buy them a PS4 after they get settled into a new home so they have some fun games to play together. As of right now though my dad is focusing on the essentials like clothes and whatnot, so hopefully everything will be okay soon in the upcoming months. I'm confident one day everythingll be fine and I get to even a really cool older sister to her.
