Dusk

The World of Remnant has been in peace for several years and life was good. Huntsmen and Huntresses trained and defended lives from Grimm, but a new force of darkness strikes fear into people and Remnant grows dark.

Dive into the World of Remnant and face against Grimm and the forces of evil as a Huntsman or Huntress. Start your main character as a student and face your fate.

 

The story will start as your characters are first arriving at Beacon Academy.

Name: Mendum Arsenic

Age: 17
Gender: Male

Weapon: Torture's Wrath; Torture's Wrath is a black whip in its base form and can be infused with dust at its end of reloading the handle of the whip with the dust (like Weiss's Myrtenaster, where the revolver filled with dust effects the blade). With the push of a button on the hilt, the whip then retreats into the handle and a blade escapes through the other end, which also can be infused with the dust from the handle.

Semblance: Expansion of Aura. In other words, able to expand his aura  in order to make aura shields, walls and bubbles. However, the downside is that when using this semblance, the user's aura on the body itself is useless.

Colour Theme: Black and Grey

Appearance: A little tanned, black jeans with a few pockets and a belt, grey T-shirt with logo (which I will attach), black leather jacket which also has a few pockets, hood of jacket kept up most of the time. Black sports shoes with grey linings. Long black hair that reaches bottom of the neck and placed behind the ears. Scar through right cheek. Dark blue eye colour.

 

 

Personality: Silent most of the time and just gazes off into the distance when he doesn't wish to speak, but he does actually speak from time to time. He always offers to help and tries to aid in any way he can, except to those who cause or had caused harm to him, his friends or any other innocent people. He tends to stay alone from to time, to the point where he sits on top of a vehicle whenever travelling, offering a free seat in the vehicle.  

Bio: Mendum had been lonely for the majority of his life. His mother had told him that his father died before he was born and he doesn't have any siblings, as his mother tells him that she didn't want any other mistakes, hence his name. Mendum's mother tortured him ever since he was 7 years old by 'training' him in battle. This training included many creatures of Grimm and pain from his mother. After suffering for a decade, he gets tired of all the pain and battles his mother only to fail with a scar as a result. After that he runs away from his tiny home in the outskirts of Vacuo and walks for months all by himself to eventually reach Vale and attend Beacon.

Name: Seth Astral

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Weapon: Kalace Ring (description intertwined with semblance below)

Semblance: Able to absorb elements in the environment thanks to the ring, and then mold the material. Depending on the material, Seth can make a weapon of it, cause blasts of energy, or change himself into the material for a short time. The Ring has a drastic drawback, however. After a couple minutes, the Ring overheats, and Seth is left powerless.

Color Theme: Black

Appearance: Has black hair, pointed at the back with a part to the right of his face down to his chin. Wears fingerless leather biker gloves, a sleeveless open black hoodie with a red gear emblem on the back and a grey tank top. Wears dark blue jeans, a black belt with a silver gear buckle, and black, white, and red sneakers.

Personality: Seth is an expressive person - like an open book, he's not hard to read and is a really, really bad liar. When he's faced with tough choices, he's likely to overthink things. But, he's always made an effort to know others. Sometimes, in hopes to escape himself.

Bio: Seth has wanted to become a Hunter since he was young. Bedtime stories and adventures of the world left him in awe. However, living in Vacuo wasn't all rainbows and sunshine; often, he'd have to transfer from combat school to combat school, because no one in his family could afford more than a loaf of bread a week. Seth had to work in a fast food restaurant, looked down upon his coworkers, forced to keep working in the horrid conditions by the employer, and often, to come home to nothing. Seth's single father died due to a plague and overwork from his factory job.

Name: Onyx Pitch-Black
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Weapon: Doppelganger. It's original shape is in the form of a rather large, expandable battle axe. With his Semblance, Onyx is able to warp the shape of his weapon to shape it into whatever he needs, whether it be a sword, dual blades, axe, or anything else provided that the metal at hand is enough to make it.
Semblance: Metal Manipulation. With his aura, he is able to manipulate any metal get gets his hands on, shaping them to fit his needs. It is not with its limitations, as it is heavily dependent on the metal at hand, and like most metals, his Semblance would be useless if his metal melts, freezes or rusts.
Color Theme: Black and Orange
Appearance: Onyx has light russet, reddish-brown skin, a toned figure, jet black hair slicked back with a spiky shape, and sharp, bright orange eyes. His attire consists of an orange T-shirt, a black leather jacket, black pants with a prominent orange belt, black boots, orange finger-less gloves that cover his thumbs, light metal arm protectors strapped on his forearms, a large belt that crosses his chest and back to hold his battle axe against his back. As a Deer Faunus, he has two prominent brown antlers over his head, twisting backwards before pointing upwards. He also wears a somewhat worn gray scarf that he is fond of.
Personality: Onyx is a very energetic and outgoing person that is always happy to make friends wherever he goes. Always positive and happy-going, he is sometimes a little bit too loud or overbearing, causing some to become overwhelmed or annoyed by his presence. However his happiness and confidence is a facade in order to hide his insecurities and overall low self-esteem. He feels personally sensitive about his antlers.
Bio: One time, some place in Mistral, in its many locations where the Black Market thrived, an upper-class woman ventured into the darkness of it out of curiosity. There, inside a cage, wearing nothing but shorts and covered in scars and dirt, she found Onyx, who merely five years of age, chained by the neck and wrists to the heavy cage he sat in. Her heart tugged, to think that the depravity of the black market would go as far as to sell children. In a moment of pity and kindness, she bought Onyx, and brought him with her to her home where she raised him as her own in the riches of the high class of Mistral. Even as he lived and was raised in the best that Mistral had to offer, his origins became a topic of scandal and rumor, making him an outcast in his own city. He suffered through constant bullying, always coming home with either a bruise or tears in his eyes. Despite this his mother comforted him, and with her love, he managed to grow up to a strong young man, educated in the arts along with many other subjects, and eventually decided he wanted to become a Hunter. When it came time for him to attend the school, however, he begged for his mother to send him to one of the Academies outside of Mistral, somewhere where his origins would not matter and would not interfere with his training as a Hunter. His mother agreed, deciding that he would be sent to Beacon. He is on his way, and he is ready to make a name for himself.

• He is skilled in playing the Violin, the Piano, and the Flute.
• His scarf was a departing gift from his mother before leaving for Beacon.
• He can definitely be considered a Momma's Boy, as she is the only family he has besides his mother's father.
• Despite being spoiled by his mother, he has maintained a very content and simple lifestyle outside of his home.
• His mother is a music composer and conductor for plays and movies. Her father, and Onyx's grandfather, is one of the councilmen of Mistral's council.

I guess they can but I would have to throw in the vital festival which seems sort of like I'm coping it but it would be interesting with a tournament.

Weapon: Oath Hunter, Dual blades one red the other white, and is able to come together by the hilt to form a bow, and using his string semblance he forms a string to connect the tips to form a bow.

 

Semblance: String, it allows Dominic to connect things together with a thin piece of string, and manipulate the way the string moves.

 

Color Theme: White, Red

 

Appearance: Caucasian, with Silver scruffy hair, sky blue eyes, wearing a white trench coat with some red on the wrist part of the coat as well as bottom part of the coat around the ankles. He wears white cargo pants with a red line at the side of it, with red tennis shoes.

 

Personality: Silent with people he doesn't know, and will communicate with motions with his hands, will hardly ever show emotions unless he is comfortable with people around him, and hates Faunus because of his past.

 

Bio: As a boy he loved his mom and dad, they would smile together, eat together, and go on trips together. Sadly though, one day his mom and dad were attacked by some Faunus and killed in front of his eyes. After they killed them, they hit Dominic over the head and because of his trauma, he forgot his last name, lost all emotions and hated Faunus after what they did to his family. After years of being alone, he learned there was a school that taught students how to save people so he joined the school and trained to fight with a weapon, now after completing the course he is ready to join Beacon academy and fight to save the world.
