I've noticed a severe lack of Jojo here over at KH13 so I thought y'know what?We need an official thread for anything and everything Jojo

 

Couple of rules though:

 

1\When discussing parts of the manga,remember to put spoilers on crucial endgame moments 

 

2\Be respectful during discussions

 

3\DO A JOJO POSE(just kidding)

 

 

There will be an additional extra rule added when an adaptation of future parts get announced but I'll save that for another time

And we're not even close to reaching Part 8 Jojolion when it comes to the anime adaptation

 

But judging by how popular the anime adaptation by David Production got over the past couple of years.....I'm hopeful that we might be seeing a part 5 anime announcement soon

That's some pretty high quality stuff right there

I really liked Part 1, it was too rushed for it's own good. Part 2 is by far one of the best parts and my personal favorite.

 

 

 

I absolutely dislike part 3, it had alot of plot armor (especially how some of these fights ended). The way the final fight ended was super shallow, (a Kick towards a full powered Dio). Thought I did like the journey, the Characters, the immature jokes, and most of all; I really REALLY like Paloneff's Character development especially towards the end. I just didn't like Part 3's writing and how some of these fights ended. Oh yeah, I also didn't like what the writer did to Avdol, he got the least amount of screentime because Araki doesn't like Characters with the element of fire.

 

Now part 4...The beginning I loved, but towards the middle is when there's a bunch of newly introduced plots that just becomed dropped for no absolute reason. There were some serious plot armor and plot holes towards the end.... I also felt like Jotaro and Josuke became irrelevant at some point, but perhaps that was because the anime was slightly rushing things.

I dunno..............I really love both part 3 and 4 equally and in my eyes the series was getting better with each part(debatable with part 5 tho)

 

But I do agree that part 3 has it's share of flaws especially regarding Avdol

Or Stands cannot be defeated or seen by non stand users logic because alot of people throw that at your face and it gets very obnoxious after awhile. Hamon was very very limiting for Araki as it's really just another version of Hokuto no Shin Ken from Fist of the North Star

 

Heck Joseph in part 2 has already shown all what you can do with Hamon from a creative stand point

 

With Stands however he's opened to himself a big door for creativity where you can do anything with the concept of stands heck the introduction of stands actually inspired so many in the anime industry back when the part 3 manga came out in the late 80s and mid 90s and you can see around you how many animes did their own spin on the concept of stands and how many replicated Star Platinum's iconic ORA ORA punching barrage(which was replicating Kenshiro's ATATATATATATA from Fist of the North Star) or how the Megami Tensei franchise copied the concept of Stands for the Persona spin-off series

 

I honestly like the way Araki writes the series,it keeps it from getting stale and while sure some issues will occur those issues are not big enough to detract from the experience for me

 

As for Josuke's past.....I think we got all we can get from it with the exception of a scrapped concept of a time loop caused by Yoshikage Kira's last use of Bites the Dust

Kinda going off of what SMK's saying, there are some pretty creative Stands imo. I mean, a handful of them are broken, but aside from that they make for some cool fights.

Also iirc Araki's mentioned that his memory isn't that great. Idk if that extends to him forgetting things as he's writing the story and stuff, but it's possible .-.
