Okay, I kinda suck at RE:COM. I am having a hard-ass time whipping Vexen's ass.

 

And yes, I mean Vexy the FIRST time around. God knows how I'm gonna get thru the second time...

 

So... anyone have any tips for me to slaughter the buttplug? And is level 42 too low to be at to fight him? I'm a lazy level up-er.

what mode are you on ? i beat him level 40 on standard mode i dont kno about proud mode though but the main thing that helped me beat that pedo was when he does his freeze attack right after he says ill freeze you dodge roll so you wont freeze you could waste a zero card but you might need id for his ice needles sleight he uses the first time you fight him:) and as for his regular attacks keep breaking him as anoying as it was i had to open moogle shops everywhere and buy cards to get 0s a make sur you have atleast five fire cards no blizzards and dont use donald the second fight is the hard one his ice sword would kill me cause i could never dodge it but you dont have to level up unless you want to id just open shops and buy good cards:D good luck!

I have 3 heals AND tinkerbell. But I don't have any fires, so maybe I should put some in my deck.

Spam him with Fire Raid or Sea-Salt Raid

watch out on the second time fighting him with sora its hard as i hear since you don't have guard in the game

I beat him!!! Yayyy!

 

But I have not yet gone against him the second time around. I'm quite scared. o.o

Marluxia was the EASIEST of them all

Everyone else i lost to at least 3 times except for Marluxia (whom i have never lost to)

of course i didnt wait to level up (thus my many losses)

I CANT BEAT MARLUXIA.

 

Apparently I need stop and I'm way too lazy to go ALL THE WAY BACK to Wonderland to get it because I missed it.

 

And then I'd have to open up ALL the doors again in Castle Oblivion to get BACK to Marluxia who will surely kick my ass anyways.

 

And I'm WAY too busy with life to level up for hours on end. ><'

 

Um... yeah, I'm putting the game away for a while. I'll go back to it when I feel inspired. I really want to do Riku's story. o:

well you could replace the stop cards i told you about with cloud cards ... and make omnislash which for marluxia is just as good as lethal flame and have you got the firy spiny tornado sleight i told you about?

Good ideas for beating Vexen (for sucky players like me) THIS MIGHT TAKE A WHILE TO DO BUT YOU WILL WIN IN THE END

Wait until he's far away. Try to mantain good distance from him. He won't stop using cards, but he won't brake yours either. Use this time to use thunder and fire.

(You should start off the fight with a sonic blade, premium card seven used first if possible)

Close in, and try to to brake his cards, so he'll stagger and you can FINALLY WACK THE BETCH! If you don't brake his cards, do not worry, because all his moves can be dodged (except for the mega blizzard one in Riku's story)

IF HE THROWS AN ICICLE AT U- Time it perfectly. They home in on you, but when they get close they lose that ability. Wait until it's close, then dodgeroll.

IF HE TRIES TO SEAL YOU IN A BLOCK OF ICE- GET A LOCK ON HIM! When he starts to raise his arm, dodgeroll. This takes timing too.

IF HE DOES THE ICE NEEDLES- I hope you aren't next to him, cuz all you have to do is run away.

IF HE USES ICE BLADE THINGY- Scream mother and run away. Kidding. Fly to avoid the first two, and for the third fly in a circle. Kind of curve around when he strkies. After some practice, youll never be hit again.

lolz! b4 i wen there i cudnt find a red 3 card for one of the doors and startred fighting heartless for HOURS finally i got one and i was on level 65 so they last fight were easy for me!

When I beat him on the GBA, which I think is much harder then the PS2 version, I was lvl 42 with like... a bazillion fires.. pwned him with a single card load.

Tia has my game; so I haven't been able to try anything. ._.
