Imagine its 2006. You've just finished playing KH2 and see the secret ending and you wonder to yourself if there will be a Kingdom Hearts 3. Then all of a sudden an older version of you appears and says he/she is you from the year 2017.

 

He/she then says that KH3 is out by then and that Donald Trump is the President. You are then told that only one of these things are true and are asked to guess which one. What would you have answered?

tbh I would shit myself and I'd probably run and tell my parents a stranger just appeared in our home.

 

but playing along, I'd say the kh3 one is correct because until this last year i had no idea who the firetruck donald trump was

yes, but that'd create a paradox and a split timeline, one in which didn't know the future and travelled to the past; and another timeline which you learned of the future from your older self and therefore never necessitated travelling back in time.
