Hey guys! So I just reverted my phone back to Marshmallow after Nougat was giving me issues, and I discovered that, when trying to migrate my data from my Google Account for the Japanese version of Union Cross, the option was no longer available. The only options available now are Twitter and Square Enix Account. It turns out that for certain mobile games, Square Enix will sometimes shrink down the number of services available for account link, probably to save money on their end for the server upkeep. So for those of you who have uninstalled the game for any reason, and can no longer use Google, Facebook or any other service that is no longer supported, you might be asking: What do I do now?
All you have to do is click the service that you had your Kingdom Hearts: Union Cross (and any other SE games that underwent this change) bound to, and login to that service. From there, it will prompt you to log into your Square Enix account, and the data that you had bound to your Google/Twitter/Facebook/Miki account will be transferred over to your Square Enix account. Keep in mind, you may need a Japanese account to do so, as I am not aware of any regional limitations and have not tested an account from any other region.
Once you have completed the process, all Square Enix mobile games (including Union Cross) will have their data transferred from the old service to your Square Enix account, and you'll be good to go!
For those of you who still have their game installed with their current data and have not done so, be sure to link your data to either your Twitter or Square Enix account in game, if you haven't done so already.
Hope all this information helps! Happy gaming guys!
