300 dallors is not the set amount of money lol thats just what it would be translated into amarican dollers they price may go down im hopeing lol!

If anything they'll price it over 300 in America and Europe

Japanese things are a lot more expensive than American stuff, so most likely the 3DS won't cost 300

why couldnt they just use the old DS instead of using a brand new 300!!! dollar console that costs more than a PS3

:(

At most it'll be like $250 USA money

This is the same price that the Wii was released at. So, in order to guess the price in your region, you should look at what the launch price of the Wii was. I'm not sure about USA, but in Australia, the Wii was $400 at release, so the same can probably be expected for the 3DS.

Oh crap. In USA, it was about $400 for the Wii. Hopefully it's not the same for the 3DS

ya but it gong to be around 200 in America and if you trade in a ds dsi or dsixl it will be around 100

ok if it is really that much for that system, i think i can wait, a LOOONG time, till its gotten a little old and there are a few good quality used ones, because $300 (or around that) for a hand held is not worth it, sure i would sell my dsi but still, i think i can wait, ill just wait for some one to put up a full game play through of it and watch that....

I'm guessing the price of the 3DS in the USA will range from $250-$280. With the DSi and DSi XL, both of those were about $20 less than the JP pricing. I'd love it if the 3DS was $250 (although that's still a big bite of my wallet), but I feel like $50 less than Japan is a lot to hope for.

By the way, here's a good site for 3DS info.

I wonder when KH3D will be out? 'cause I was thinking on waiting a while before getting the 3DS in case the price dropped before KH3D was released. Unless it's released in like, 2012 (which may be probable if JP gets it in 2011).

The 3DS won't cost 300 dollars, Nintendo hasn't released a set price, but according to this

http://www.youtube.com/user/Nintendo3DS

it'll be around 250 dollars or less.

And the PS3 was a lot more than 300 dollars when it was first released.

On release, it was something like 600 dollars (I think more)

There has just been a lot of price drops, now that the console has been out for a while.

Okay, so I googled it, and the Wii had the exact same price projections.

Oh crap. In USA, it was about $400 for the Wii. Hopefully it's not the same for the 3DS

Actually, It was $250 in America when it first came out. Trust me, I got it around the time it came out so I would know.
