I only remember the pre order bonus being that special PS3 theme. I've seen pictures of the pin but I don't remember getting it when my dad sent me the game after pre ordering it.

Nop it comes with an artbook. 2.5 didn't came with that. 

I recall getting a small art book and I think one other small thing from memory but I don't remember if it was a pin or I'm confusing a different preorder. I need to find where I put the box.

Nope, there was no pin for the 1.5 collectors edition. Shame really because that's going to peeve of all the OCD Kingdom Hearts collectors.

No, it was an artbook for some of the first printings (including from Amazon). Then 2.5 was only going to have a pin, fans rioted, and we got the 2.5 CE (one of the best CE's I've ever gotten) which had an art book, plushie, and steelbook case in addition to the pin. Then 2.8 had a pin, and then 1.5+2.5 had a pin, but ONLY available from the SE store. 1.5, 2.8, and 1.5+2.5 have all had pre-order themes as well.

1.5 Got a pin but only at a limited time event at Disney Parks.

the special edition had an art book

 

2.5 special edition got the pin 

collectors edition with both games got a pin and an art book and a steenbok and heartless plushie 

 

1.8 got a pin 

and so di 1.5 + 2.5

It did not come with a pin but 1.5 had an excusive pin that was handed out at the official 1.5 launch event in Anaheim California. We also got a pretty sweet poster.

The reason I asked was because the official KH Twitter posted this when 1.5+2.5 was coming out.

The game didn't, but there was a pin for the launch event. I was there at the event, they only handed out 2000 though.
