Ok so we've heard that Toy Story 4 will have the Gang rescue Bo-Peep. Kingdom Hearts 3 takes place after Toy Story 2 which is when Bo-Peep disappeared since she didn't return in Toy Story 3. With all this talk about Woody and Buzz's friends being taken in the trailer, it's very likely that we will find out what happened to Bo-Peep as well, setting up for Toy Story 4!

They're not so much 'rescuing' Bo Peep as looking for her after Andy sold her/threw her away. I doubt KHIII is really going to even bring her up since Pixar probably wants to keep that story thread for the sequel. We're probably only going to be finding Andy's other toys that appeared in Toy Story 3. (ie. Jessie, Bullseye, Slinky, Mr. & Mrs. Potato Head and maybe even Barbie)

I don't see Kingdom Hearts playing a part in Toy Story 4. Nor playing into it's canon universe at all.

 

Just to clarify, I'm fine with toy story impacting the kingdom hearts storylines, but not the other way around.

If the upcoming toy story 4 have easter eggs regarding black coat fellas , black creatures or spiky hair dude with a key then I would consider it canon. Until then  I consider KH3 having no impact on  toy story .

These types of narratives are usually all their own, so that doesn't seem likely.

 

Besides, I'm still coming to the grips that there's going to be a Toy Story 4 in the first place...

Nomura worked closely with Pixar on an original story for this world. Now I doubt it will impact what goes on with TS4, but he did confirm that it takes place in the Canon timeline for Toy Story and the story happens sometime after TS2, but it's before 3.

Yes, as in it's following what's happened in the franchise. No retconning where it pretends ts3 didn't happen or goes against the events of ts4 (somehow), this doesn't mean it becomes a canon part of the series itself.
