Recently i've been kind of questioning Nomura's statements from his Interviews considering how much of a troll he has been lately and I believe he may have bluffed about The MoM won't make an appearance in KH3. Now within saying that I do believe there is SOME truth about that statement as I don't think Nomura has flat out lied about something like that in the past (as far as I know). But from his statements I do believe the MoM won't make an appearance like Papa Nomura said BUT in the main story/plot, I do believe that the MoM may have a possible secret boss in the game or even a small cameo in the secret movie but that's the only possible appearances I believe the MoM may appear in if he even appears at all.

Even though Back Cover was really cool to watch it 1) barely gave us answers about the X "universe", 2) barely made a connection to KH3 and 3) raised more questions than answers...

And the way Union X is going, I don't think they will answer the questions about the Master and Luxu.

When it comes to KH3 it's wait and see what happens. I'd like to have at least a plausible explanation for the Master leaving so suddenly but I personally wouldn't like it to be a heavy plot on KH3. There is so much going on and a lot of unsolved stuff. Another plot to resolve in a single game would be a little overwhelming...

Also I'd like to see an epilogue where we play as Yen Sid in Daybreak Town as he goes after a strange power he is sensing... and as he gets there, he meets the Master and they have an awesome fight and at the end, the Master just leaves saying something about worlds, light, dark (the usual haha) that would be a nice way to give a possible storyline for a new arc.

No he will not. Let that be for the record until Nomura says otherwise. The Master will not come back for KH3.

Normally I'm inclined to say that Nomura said he wouldn't come back, so that's that...but Nomura also said to expect normal news for D23, and we got a release year, which isn't "normal" at all!

 

So really, right now I'm debating whether or not he's teasing some of the story elements to us on purpose! Obviously I'm not saying that the MoM will have a vital role in Kingdom Hearts III, but I do certainly think he'll be mentioned and probably referenced in some way! I'm sure of it! Maybe Cable Town or some other world will have that "Aha, there he is!" moment when we discover some sort of Easter Egg or something. I honestly don't know!

You could be right about that! Seeing the Master Of Masters in a Secret Movie would make the most sense! Any Easter Egg we could spot would also be pretty cool! Really, it all just rides on Nomura's shoulders, ya know?
