Will i have to buy a 3ds to play kh3d? could i just play it without 3d effects on my ds lite? or is this part of nintendo's plot to use my obsessiveness to sell more products, cuz if it is, it will work.

Well thanks, i guess. i can't really afford a 3ds either, i do hope i can use my lite, but what about re:Coded? do you know about that?

for re:coded you can use your regular ds or ds lite but for kh3d well yea you will need a 3ds becaues Nomura said its gonna go out for that and you cant play games for new systems on the old systmes sorry to burst your bubble there

Thanks for the info. my bubble was not bursted, but my wallet will be.

Question: Will the 3DS have a Code so you can

^ it really depends.

PSP and DS dont have them.

regional locks.

so its a new system though.

So the 3DS might have one.

You can play DS games on the 3DS, but you can't play the 3DS games on a DS. Just like you can't play PS3 games on a PS2 or a PS1.

Uh, what? All PSPs are region free, regardless of firmware.

Regarding the OP, yes, you'll need to buy a 3DS.

Grrr im kinda hating how they always change the consoles >:( i reckon all the games should just stay on ps2. I now have to buy a psp or ps3, and now the new nintendo...kinda pissing me off...but i would do anything to play kingdom hearts ^.^

It was...announced several years ago that KH2 would be the last PS2 KH game... If you haven't already noticed, that console has pretty much become abandoned by developers, regardless of what Sony is saying :

Meanwhile it takes years to develop games for HD consoles (Particularly the PS3) and the Sony Systems have the worst sales of this generation, so it wouldn't be a very good decision for Square Enix to stick with them, if they wanted to make money.
