Ok so being confused is something we're all used to by now when it comes to Kingdom Hearts but if you pay attention you can figure out where it's going/what's happening but MY LORD I just don't understand Union Cross. Am I stupid? Because I feel stupid.

 

This is the only game I can't follow and I'm trying so hard lmao. One minute I'm alive the next I'm dead I just can't follow the plot at all. So if anyone out there fully understands the story so far, please can you try and explain it to me? Because I just don't understand...

 

I know that some aspects haven't been explained yet within the story so that's fine. It's the general plot, what's going on, etc. I'm not following. I've tried but I'm lost. I'm up to date on the story quests, I've watched back cover and played every other game and watched the secret endings and this. THIS GAME RIGHT HERE! Is what's throwing me. I highly suggest you watch the cutscenes for KHχ first and then see Union Cross. Union Cross takes place after KHχ in the Realm of Sleep, then called the Realm of Unchained. This should help a bit I hope.

Union X is actually a "sequel" to the PC version.

 

On Union X we're reliving everything that happened in X without the sad parts and the war. Everything that us, the players, do, are actually dreams happening in the Unchained/Union Realm (pretty much the Sleep Realm from DDD).

If you've played the newest story update, you'll be able to understand better what we're saying.

But the new leaders thing and what the hell Ven is doing there is driving everyone crazy. So we're pretty much on the same boat!

So KHχ explains the story before the Keyblade War and up to it. It shows all the events that happened leading up to it. Union Cross is the next chapter if you will. It shows AFTER the Keyblade War when the Realm of Light is under reconstruction. Often Union Cross will show events KHχ did not show. Watching the KHχ cutscenes will help you understand Union Cross because it helps set the premises for Union Cross. χ Back Cover is the behind the scenes of KHχ.

Basically KHUX is like a sequel to KHX(chi). It's basically the same story, but in KHX your character gets wrapped up in the Keyblade War, which was the weird cutscenes from the recent update were. The dream of the fight with the Foreteller actually happened in KHX, as well as the scene of your character dying with Skuld and Ephemer appearing before you. That second one was how KHX ended. But in KHUX, it continues after that and you end up in the world the Dandelions go to, and your memories of the war are erased and you keep going like nothing happened.

 

If you'd like to see the story of KHX(chi), Everglow is our guy who uploaded the full story campaign of KHX(chi) on YouTube with translated cutscenes thanks to our translators. I recommend checking them out if you'd like to see the story yourself.

This makes sense, I kind of get it now. Thank you guys! Now going to watch Everglows posts the first one. See I always thought KHUX was the only game which is why I was confused but now it's starting to make sense in my brain haha. Thank you everyone!

Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ is the worldwide mobile port of Kingdom Hearts χ. But, it’s been recently revealed to be a sequel, not a port. This part is complicated and hard to explain without spoiling things. At the end of Kingdom Hearts χ, something happened to the characters which made them have to experience their entire journey again, but without the finale. Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ is you playing as the character from Kingdom Hearts χ going through their entire journey from Kingdom Hearts χ over again, but without the finale. So, as you can see, it sort of acts as a port of Kingdom Hearts χ, as well as a sequel to it.

Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ has ended, and recently a “season 2” to the game was released called “Kingdom Hearts Union χ." It continues the game from after the characters have completed going through their entire journey a second time.

So, what you should do to experience the entire "χ" story, is this:

 

1.) Watch the Kingdom Hearts χ cutscenes, translated to English. I’ve made a playlist of them here.

Thank you so much for all the information! I've watched back cover and played 0.2. I didn't realise the mobile game was a sequel, hence why I was getting confused. I have a day off next Friday so I'm going to watch all the cutscenes and get myself up to date. Thank you
