isn't that weird... i mean i all for her being not longer a damsel in distress but the story does not fit because the 7 wielders are created to protected the 7 lights? so how is Kairi going to protect herself?

Its really not explained well. I think the reason she even has a key is either cause of aqua from birth by sleep when kairi touched aquas keybalde (or when aqua put that spell on kairis necklace although i believe that had something too do bringing sora back when she hugged him in 1 after the heartless incident)

then its possible that kairis heart being in soras body just gave her the ability or heck even maybe Namine has the ability too do it then it just automatically gave kairi the ability whos really knows.

 

What i wanna know is how shes going to learn to wield a keybalde in such a short time frame kairi doesnt seem like the athletic combo type like Sora and Riku my guess is shes going too heavily rely on magic. I bet you nomura is just going to pull off a hyperbolic time chamber then bam shes as good as riku and sora.

I think it was confirmed along time ago that the reason why Kairi has the ability to wield the keyblade was because she touch Aqua's keyblade in Birth by Sleep. So Aqua made unintentional Keyblade Inheritance Ceremony toward Kairi.

Well, if anything, the fact that Kairi will be on the front lines wielding a Keyblade while also being a Princess Of Heart means that she'll be protecting herself, and therefore be protected by her friends as  well. I doubt that she'll be watered down because of her being a Princess Of Heart. I believe that she'll shine, and she'll leave us all breathless!

Even though she is becoming a keyblade user I don’t think she’ll be at full strength/potential. It wouldn’t make sense in such a short time for her to gain so much power so quick but it has been done before. Maybe she’ll show some signs of being strong but then ultimately can’t keep up with everyone else.
