Although the existence of this has been known for a while, I wasn't expecting all of what was in the trailer. I just don't like all of the people moaning and whining about how "this should have been in the game" or that they "have to pay even more money". I'll admit, I feel a bit mad about most likely having to pay more than others who get this edition, but this new content seems worth 20 bucks, and I'd rather have them gradually releasing quality content, paid or not, to try and fix the story they couldn't properly tell then no free updates or anything else be released at all like some developers have done before. 

So in other words, this is basically the Complete Edition of Final Fantasy XV, with the added bonus of some neat new content. That's pretty badass! I'm sure people who didn't get to play XV will enjoy playing it now, especially given that they'll be getting the complete package as opposed to the incomplete game we got in 2016, ya know?

Haha, can't wait! Windows Edition comes with all that! A wild Luna appeared!

Tabata is definitely going to pull out an Episode Ardyn. That and Episode Luna were the two most requested pieces of content in the survey back in 2017.

You know, I do find it odd that an Episode Ardyn never came to light, considering what an interesting character he is, ya know?

I'm excited for this, but at the same time I'm just slightly upset with another $20 paywall for the rest of the content on my end. FFXV has been my most expensive gaming purchase to date, as I've purchased the UCE and Season Pass.

This is a huge complaint from many FFXV season pass purchasers. I doubt you guys would be left out - I could see this being the last thing you get as a season pass member and everything from here on out costs.

I think it was confirmed to be a $20 upgrade for owners of the standard edition with the pass.

Square Enix deconfirmed that. They said the price is now TBD.
