What if Sora gets tricked to believe he is freeing Roxas but in reality it's Ventus? Wouldn't be surprising though Sora has been tricked by Xehanort before.

    Might be, now that he potentially has Aqua he can get to Ventus but without his heart it would be futile, therefore you might be right.

    Even if Sora isn't mistaking Roxas for Ventus, you have made me think of something that I never thought of before.  If both Roxas and Ventus return, Sora is going to be really confused!
