do you think it would be cool to have an mmo of kingdom hearts but it would be the one were you have to press the button to attack it would be cool a dark and lightside story or be like a magican and knight (or whatever goofy was) i think it would be cool

a kh mmo would be awesome. you would like be able to level up and change classes and stuff, it would be fun if the gameplay was like fire emblem, except each person has to work together to beat the other team, and if you die, you get removed from that team.

I always thought it would be cool if they made one, and based it in the plot for the Keyblade Wars before Birth By Sleep, or if another War starts.

Yes it would be interesting. Since Kingdom Hearts is also a RPG, then it would be a MMO RPG.

There is a Final Fantasy MMO so there could be one for Kingdom Hearts, but I doubt it.

Here's are more fleshed out ideas, based on Xehanort's talk on keyblade wielders of light and darkness.

 

Timeline: 1st Keyblade War

 

Heroes (light): You

Villains (darkness): You

 

In other words, you choose your side, you do want you want. What do I mean?

At the start of the game, all begin as Keybladers of light, after all, it requires a good heart before keyblades decide to lend you their strength. Along the way, as you level up and do some crime fighting, realm protecting etc in the different worlds, you can make choices, that may lead to the dark side. Or you may stumble accross artifacts, ancient relics etc. that give your character access to dark abilities and hence the road to darkness begins.

 

Gameplay

Combat system: Similar to KH BBS, KHII, and KH 358/2 Days.

Weapon/equipment customization that links to different fighting maneuveurs and stats (CREATE-A-KEYBLADE function...)

Command style activation when doing certain maneuveurs in battle

D-links to other players you are friends with, allowing you to use their commands etc. based on your last meeting with them

Forced Command Style Activation using your Drive Gauge (by pass the need to do certain maneuveurs)

LASTLY, but not least

SUMMONS - Which will be different for wielders of light and darkness.

Light summons: Call on the full power of Final Fantasy's plethora of Aeons, Guardian Forces, etc.

Darkness Summons: Follows Vanitas' example, from whose darkness, all the Unversed spring forth. Likewise, dark keyblade wielders get the ability to customise their own army of minions.

Pros and Cons of both - Light summons - Quality, but not quantity

Dark summons - Quantity, but it will probably take a couple (say...20) of mid levelled minions to take down one light summon... and when a player starts down the dark path, it will take a while to level up the minions he can summon before they become a real threat.

 

Worlds: Marvel Worlds would be awesome since this game is waaaay before Hercules, Snow White, Eraqus, Yen Sid, Peter Pan, etc. even existed. I mean, the characters are shown to age throughout the series from KH:BBS to KH II.

it could be like people already said choose evil or bad and like org13 or heartless keyblade wielder or one of the guys in king mickey's castle or something and like choosing you master

I'll leave my two cents I guess.

 

FFXI and XIV allow for much more expansion than KH. The series' plot, as you can tell, has become more and more restricted with each new title, whereas compared to the FF titles, their's is simple and vague enough to keep adding more and more without any particular lasting effects on the rest of the plot.

 

Let's take the Keyblade War concept for a KH MMO. As you know, Keyblade wielders traditionally have very few options:

 

- Apprentices stay with their Masters and train under their tutelage, whether they travel around (Xehanort) or in a set location (Eraqus, Yen Sid).

- Apprentices upon earning the title of Master can either leave to travel and basically do as they wish, or they are chosen by their own Master to succeed them and take over their position.

 

Asides from that, they have the responsibility to keep world order. They cannot tell anyone else about the existence of other worlds, or the existence of the Keyblade, and they must keep light and darkness at equilibrium.

 

See what I'm getting at here? This is back in a time before wielders could go around doing whatever they wanted with no consequence (looking at you Sora). Seriously, the guy completely forgot about world order and keeping secrets in KH2. Part of me wouldn't be surprised if he blabbed to the entire DI population about his adventures when he got back home :

if they ever did make one they should make each server a different world

I remember when I used to think that it would be a good idea, a mmo for the Keyblade War. But now that I think back on it, it was kinda stupid, Kingdom Hearts isn't meant for that kind of stuff, sure the Mirage Arena with Multiplayer is a good idea, but I don't see a complete mmo working for Kingdom Hearts, just my opinion.

I wanted to make one called kingdom hearts pangea. If you know what pangea is then you would know how it would turn out.

 

I have lots of ideas but I don't know how to release them
