The extended version of the Big Hero 6 trailer has been released, and there is a lot in this trailer!  Here are some of my thoughts on what was shown:

 

Larxene tells Sora, Donald, and Goofy that they have all thirteen seekers of darkness.  Do they actually have all thirteen seekers of darkness, or was she lying?  It is also possible that what she meant was that they know who all thirteen seekers of darkness are going to be, but they might not necessarily have all of them yet.  However, it's not like they need to find a lot of people.  We know thanks to Dream Drop Distance that they only need one more seeker of darkness, so maybe they actually do have all thirteen seekers of darkness by that point in the game.  Also, we don't know at what point in the game we visit Arendelle.  If we visit it later in the game, then it would be very believable that they have found their thirteenth seeker of darkness.

 

Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, talks about destroying someone if he wanders from the path they lay.  Xigbar responds by telling him that if they did that, they would need to find another vessel.  Were they talking about Sora or not?  It is also possible that they were talking about Sora, but the vessel that Xigbar was talking about is someone connected to Sora's heart, meaning that if they have to destroy Sora, they wouldn't be able to make the person connected to his heart a vessel, be that person Roxas, Ventus, or Xion.

 

Vexen talks to Demyx about someone's plan.  What is this plan that Vexen is talking about?  Are they following someone's plan, and if so, whose plan?  Also, they are both wearing black coats, but what is really surprising is that Vexen has yellow eyes.  Does this mean that Vexen is a seeker of darkness?  Does that also mean that Demyx is a seeker of darkness?  What I think is that Vexen and Demyx are not seekers of darkness.  Since we see both Demyx and Ansem the Wise appear in Radiant Garden in front of Ienzo, I think that Vexen and Demyx are following the plan of Ansem the Wise.  This plan might involve infiltrating the seekers of darkness, which would explain why Vexen has yellow eyes (they aren't really yellow eyes; they are fake eyes that are meant to fool the seekers of darkness).  I also think that part of Ansem the Wise's plan is to rescue Ventus.  We see Demyx return to Radiant Garden, and he seems to be carrying someone in a white robe.  The only person we have seen in a white robe like that is Ventus.

 

Finally, Vanitas appears to have found Ventus in the Land of Departure, which means that Castle Oblivion must have turned back into the Land of Departure somehow.  Vanitas isn't wearing his black coat in the Land of Departure.  Is that significant or not?  We also see him seemingly about to kill Aqua.  The fact that Aqua is no longer in the Realm of Darkness and is not corrupted by darkness leads me to believe that Aqua has been saved by this point in the game.  In addition, we see a bright light behind Aqua.  Is that the Keyhole that she used to transform the Land of Departure into Castle Oblivion or something else?  It could even be Ventus.

 

But these are just my thoughts.  What do you guys think?

I think what's even the point of playing the game now? This trailers literally spoiled everything we've been building up to. The mystery of the Seekers is gone, we now know who all of them are and if my math is correct, they now number much more than thirteen. And there isn't any point in speculating who might win and who might lose, this is a Disney JRPG so of course Sora and pals are going to win, that's just how these things go.

I think that there are lots of things we still don't know.  When I watch all of these trailers, I still feel like I know nothing.  We have gotten a lot, yes, but I don't think we've gotten enough to spoil the entire game for us.

Maybe there are some surprises left but that doesn't change the fact that they spoiled the whole setup from all the past games. Like, every past trailer for this franchise never spoiled anything, even the trailers for Dream Drop Distance managed to keep all the important stuff under wraps despite how close to the endgame it is. But now? Better front load everything! And another thing, what's the point of defeating the original Organization, turning some of them good again, only to turn them evil again? I mean for crying out loud, Even in Dream Drop Distance openly regretted what he did as Vexen but nope, Vexen's back and he's kidnapping Ienzo! I've stated on multiple other threads that I am not happy with all these sudden resurrections but come on! And stupid Repliku is back too!

No Even never said that in Dream Drop Distance. Plus, Aeleus said this in Dream Drop Distance, "Even and Dilan are conscious again. But they're still unstable." Even was conscious but unstable and we never seen him in Dream Drop Distance. Except his body laying on the floor after Lea, Ienzo, and Aeleus woke up after returning to their human forms.

Why do you watch the trailers if you don't want to be spoiled? I mean, "spoilers" pretty much refers to ANYTHING about the game. If you don't want to know anything, don't watch the trailers, simple as that. I don't mind the cutscenes. I actually love them since now I can try to think my own theories about what's actually happening in those cutscenes. It's not like they've shown the ending of the game.

If you don't want to know anything, don't watch the trailers, simple as that. I don't mind the cutscenes. I try to avoid trailers but in the end I watch them because I don't have a choice, the bozos on YouTube apparently don't know how to make spoiler free thumbnails for their reaction videos. As soon as I load up the main page on YouTube, there's a spoiler character staring me right in the face. After that, the cat's out of the bag so I might as well watch the damn trailer. But I wouldn't be having this problem if Square didn't spoil everything months in advance. I get that they have to drum up hype but there are better ways of doing that: show off worlds, show combat footage, and if they have to show scenes with The Seekers, show the ones that we already know the identities of. Give us more Xemnas. more Ansem, more Young Xehanort, but don't spoil the whole big mystery. I'd be fine with it if they spoiled one, maybe two of the unknown Seekers but leave something for us to ponder. Dream Drop Distance built up all this tension of Xehanort possessing people and we didn't know who might secretly evil but nope, here they all are! And we already know the end of the game, it was told to us in Dream Drop Distance: it's Sora and pals fighting the Xehanorts and we already know that the heroes will win because that's how these games go. Maybe for once a character will actually die and stay dead but chances are slim.

 

As far as I remember, the only things we got spoiled on were Ansem, Xemnas, Vanitas, and Young Xehanort, and even then we didn't know that they were real because the trailers said that we would be in the Sleeping Worlds, they could have been dreams accidentally conjured up by Sora and Riku. We also didn't know what they were up to, just that they're somehow back and antagonizing again.
