So for the last couple of weeks,  I have been immersing myself in the kingdom hearts series. Playing the games, watching the movies on the collections, rereading the manga. And I've also been working on this little guy. The White Mushrooms have always been one of my favourite Heartless in the Kingdom Hearts series since they're so cute, and so I figured I would try making a plushie of one. I've included a render of the in-game model for comparison. 

All in all, I think he turned out well. The only issue I have is with the eyes; they didn't quite turn out the way I wanted them to, but I think he's still super cute! Btw, the arms are posable, which I'm really proud of because I've never attempted anything like that before. And lastly, you probably noticed that the Heartless symbol is missing from the belly. I tried to crochet it and just couldn't get it to work, so I'll have to assemble it from felt.

Aww it's cute. Well made. The question is, what magic spell does it want right now? And will it give us Mystery Goo should we succeed this time?

I think he's just chillin in the above photo. But wait! I think now he wants blizzard magic. He's fanning himself. Keep your fingers crossed for mystery goo!

It's so cute! The dancing pose won me over. You should try to make a rounder one and it will looke even better but the overall work it's quite well done

Now he's trying to decide which spell he wants next. Soooo glad I did posable arms!

Mushrooms in general are some of my favorite Heartless.

They've always been my favourites, too. They're just so cute and I love how they're not hostile (with the exception of the black fungus ones). They had such an interesting design and strategy.

Agreed, the Mushroom Heartless have always been adorable little guys, though the Flans from Kingdom Hearts III come at a close second! Great job with this White Mushroom! I want one now! XD

I've thought about starting up an Etsy account to sell my creations (especially since our apartment is running out of space, lol), but it would be a ton of work. But if everything I make gets this kind of reception, then maybe it's worth it.

Ooh, I'd definitely be down for purchasing any awesome creations you make! And I'm sure many others would love to have the Mushroom plush in their collections! So you should go for it!
