It should jump to the correct time but please tell me you all caught what is clearly the castle from Daybreak Town under Scala ad Caelum.?

Yes totally saw that. Called it out underneath a youtube vid somewhere and then people were like 'no that's two different worlds'. 
But I totally saw that. 

It could also be speculated that it's the Land of Departure, since Xehanort says after the chess game that Eraqus will probably be made the guardian next, and the guardian of the world has the ability to change it's shape.  So it's entirely possible that their master, or their master's master, etc. changed the world from Daybreak Town to Scala, and then Eraqus changed it to Land of Departure, and Aqua, who became guardian after Eraqus, turned it into Castle Oblivion to hide Ven, then back to Land of Departure to retrieve him.

Sad thing is, I thought it was Daybreak town from the start.

Looks like a pretty good match to me!
