The power of waking?

Featured Replies

I think it was what Sora used to wake Ven up.

Spoiler

The Power of Waking is the power to awaken a heart from its sleep. It allows Keyblade wielders to dive into one's heart and unlock a keyhole there (like Riku did to wake Sora in DDD and like Sora did to wake Ventus in KHIII). When the keyhole is unlocked, the heart awakens. It's the "great power" that Yen Sid keeps talking about in KHDDD but it didn't have a name back then. It is learned by unlocking Sleeping Keyholes and waking up worlds from their slumber in the process (which is basically the same as unlocking the keyhole in one's heart and waking them up in the process). According to Young Xehanort, it can be used to reach worlds (I think that's how Riku and the gang join Sora in Scala Ad Caelum at the end of KHIII, but that's just speculation).

That’s what the dive to the heart is.  That platform Sora stands on his own heart.
