Eh,I wouldn't say so,since it seems like the worry was it'd be too much like KH2,before they settled on "the full flavor of the osaka team"

Being too much like KH2 shouldn't be a worry at all

Why does Osaka not want to build on from a baseline?

For them,that's what they've been working on for so long and that was their comfort zone

As a developer,you usually go with familiarity

No this is not a good thing

It's fine for them to do whatever bullshit they want on they side games, no one cares

But all the numbered games have a formula, and it's on them to provide an evolution from that base

Anything else should be peripheral

Not sure if it's a "Good thing" or "bad thing",but realistically,as developers,you go off of familiarity usually... this doens't say much of what they think the base is

There's not anything in the game that pushes you to figure out depth

If there is even any

Base combos are good

Second form is easily the best thing in the game

Again.. this was just like KH2 vanilla,you weren't really pushed to find any depth either... it was ltierally called,for years,a mindless button masher where you "press triangle to win".. not a good thing that thhis is a thing that happend again,but that happened

At least in KH2s case that was the first instance

KH2 only got it's rep for having depth when KH2FM rolled around,finally

The fact that 13 years later the same problem occurs is laughable

That's when you're actually pushed to use everything

If your only defence is "a 2005 game had the same issues" you gotta realise how bad that looks
