KH2 had a letter and a secret ending. (also LW in FM).

They give you closure

KH3 had a lot more than that

But they also know how to do nice hooks

Xehanort is our closure
and now we have a whole boat of possibility for new things for KH as a whole

Also everyone knows it's not ending but still

Lol I don't give a shit that they had ux stuff the ephemera stuff was probably the best thing about kh3

a new generation of kids and teens to get into a series that may mean a lot to them in their future
Our time of fresh KH has come to a close with KH3
and a new generation of the series can be sprung up from hencefoth

It's beyond magical when you consider the length of KH1-KH3, and what more can come from here on out in this crazy land of the video game industry

because we all know, no matter what changes, KH always maintains a set of consistent patterns everyone loves

I wrote up a list of interval plot stuff that happens

It doesnt need to be, but it's just how modern gaming works

Like literally three or four scenes advance the plot of KH3 meaningfully

The ux stuff was completely unnecessary and tbh unacceptable if they weren't going to develop the actual plot fully

But with the dislike of Ux,how can one review those bits fairly,like now?

The ux stuff didn't matter an iota for kh3

One or two allusions is fine

But when every other world you see the firetrucking black box and shit but no real plot then it's like "well what am I doing"

i do admit, the black box is pretty meh as a plot point

Literally only needed one mention of it in the secret ending

It's something that could have been saved for after all the Xehanort stuff

I guess so? I feel like if the Ux related scenes were actually all DLC instead,and added in the same regard BbS connections were added to KH2FM,who knows,it might not be as debated as widely
