I think the real question here is why were you on a doujin site

I would agree this is cut content if there was something more to this place other than this room

But it isn't, so clearly it was just for the cutscene

No, it's definitely cut content

The only reason I'm so confident about this is because this looks exactly like the unreleased 2014 trailer

From the 2.5 launch event

Which was back in 2015, meaning in 4 years they didn't do anything else other than make a cutscene

We only have artists impressions to go on but this place looks exactly like what the artist described

Or, they had plans for something more and cut them?

We know for definite that Sora was shown walking up to the chess board and picked up a chess piece, that's something that's definitely true

But after seeing this I 100% agree

Well I define cut content as them making something and then not putting it in the game, ie what most of FFXV was. There isn't really any proof outside of a 4 year old trailer that was never shown to the world outside of a few people that there is something more they made that never made the final cut of the game

They definitely planned for more, but whether they made it is another question

That's the thing, we don't really know. No one knows if that trailer was an actual in-game one, a pre-rendered one or something Sora did in a completely different location but just moved into that room

We do know for definite that it is this classroom

That's 100% certain

And whether it was in game or pre rendered its still something that was made and then cut

My point is this. If they showed that room 4 years ago and we still see only that one room and nothing else, then we have no idea if they actually did work on something more or not. If there is any proof of a way for Sora to reach this room, I will 100% say it's cut content as that's something that never happened. For all we know, all they did was make that one room, put Sora in it as they hadn't made a YYX and YE model and called it a day as a teaser for the 20+ people who were there to see it.

We just have different opinions on what cut content is then

It's the engine causing ways to interact with the environment

Or the Radiant Garden scene

Then use the Radiant Garden one in the lab, you could walk around without any issues

Suppose there's no real true definition for cut content so it depends on the individual

You know.. This isn't unique to KH3 or just KH in general. Interaction with the environment, and being able to walk on it, doesn't really mean it was content made to be played through or used... There's a lot of games that just have something that can be walked upon, but there's nothing say they're anything.

Like.. look at 0.2, then, let's use that as the closest thing.

Aqua can wal on literally all of that land and forest if you do it right for 0.2... You gonna say that was made to be playable?

For my part it has nothing to do with the environment or whatever

I'm just using what I know

I know there was a trailer released after the engine swap that showed sora in this room

And now I know that this room is fully interactive

Between my first and last bit of information there's something missing, and whatever it was no longer exists so by defacto it's cut

Why do people get so defensive over any potential cut content in KH3?

In this case, it isn't really being defensive. Otti is just most likely right here

there is obviously cut content

but acting as if every single thing is cut content is where it gets pretty annoying
