So, yeah it's real nice that they're getting more and more scrutinised and yet have less money to do anything about it. Plus kids especially in primary school aren't taught anymore, they're just firetrucking tested and tested like they're not children

My mum just started teaching reception after working in nursery, five weeks into the job the kids are tested

My mum is actually a TA in a primary school (even worse tbh with the miniscule pay)

Especially because for the first two or three weeks reception kids only go into school for half days

Which steadily increases to full days

God yeah, TAs are being laid off left right and centre

My mums school has just one special needs teacher and she's also doubled up as the year 3 teacher
