Like I said in the other channel, KH3 didn't do tell don't show in a great way, but tell don't show is far from an objectively bad writing

It depends on how and what you do it with

But like most things that go against the grain, its better to avoid this type of stuff

Yeah, it takes a special writer to make it work

For the vast majority of people, it's a real copout

Anyways, check that one video above when you can and you will see what I mean

I am really excited for season 2 of Doom Patrol but also so afraid it's going to fall into the same trap as Legends of Tomorrow

Where it just relies on the ridiculous stuff instead of the story it wants to tell

they still have story to go
