So I live not far from a military base, and for about an hour this morning all I heard were military helicopters. If you've never heard one of them just imagine the TARDIS sound but much louder

I wonder what's going on there

Honestly I don't mind losing the job so much, it's more because of my trip in March and I need money for it

I have a bit saved up but was hoping for more

Hmm, it would be difficult to find a job that will let you go on holiday after you just started with them

There's one open position I am seeing right now that looks so damn good and fit all my criteria

Haha, I remember the first job I ever had, literally on the second week was Eid, so I had to go upto my boss and be like "I know I literally started today but I kinda need a day off next week"

He asked me what day eid was tho

And I was like "uhhhh... Depends on the moon"

I was 16 and didn't know any better

Now I tell people "yeah it's a 3 day holiday so I need those days off"

He looked at me like I was stupid and then I tried to explain the whole thing to him and he just didn't understand
