and the fact that it's more RPG-based

I've played all of the dusk games and 2 of the arland games. Never understood synthesis in any of them lol

but I also wanted to pick up Kakarot due to being a DBZ fan

Mysterious saga too

Kakarot is fun. It's more about exploring the world than anything

though Smash is pretty important

I played a lot of escha. Over 100 hours. Fun game

Original escha and logy anyway. Was my first atelier

But I've never understood the synthesis, it all seems random to me in all of the games. The community tried helping me at one point but even they have no idea why I don't understand

I think the versions they rereleased are based on the Plus versions that came out on Vita.

So I've had to abandon the games as a whole

which tbh is an incentive for me since I never got to play those enhanced versions

I have the plus versions of escha and logy, ayesha, rorona and totori

Plus adds some cool stuff
