Why would I want twitter to be a part of it

The community twitter account

They shut this account down for some reason

"Sorry I don't think we can promote your tournaments on the twitter, they aren't KH related"

No but they ARE KH13 related and that was the best shot any of us had to get a wider audience

> twitter wouldn't have been enticed by the prospect of KH13 Oscars
Wouldn't really work on twitter

Except for the category of the guy who disliked KH3 the most

Obvious who wins that one

No that's not what I mean

I mean promoting what happens on the discord and the forums ON twitter

Hey guys we have a really cool community that does shit like this, it's fun!

We have movie nights! We stream sometimes! We sometimes have tournaments! We sometimes bitch but it's generally all good!

It's not as if twitter is the only acceptable social media platform. KHInsider and KH13 at any given time of the day have a similar number of users online.

One of them gets way more interactivity than the other. Probably because they listen to the users even over the smallest stuff

You know what I mean too Xylek

How many of us have so many good reasons just for statuses

And even that is just "oh no, it can't be done"

:gandalfwhite:

I mean those ideas could work but if you wanted to do the KH13 oscars again then it wouldn't really work. The people active here are most likely on twitter and the ones who aren't active won't know who any of us are.

When they see it on Twitter the reaction would be more "who the firetruck are these people and why should I vote" rather than "ohh, this sounds interesting, let me vote on that person". I mean maybe you get a handful of new members to join but it wouldn't really work that way. So unless the nominations are about KH itself rather than the fandom then you aren't getting the reaction you are looking for.

I have to disagree Otti

I'm not saying like, when we were doing those awards we should have told twitter or something

But now that it's done and we know we'll be doing them next year you can tell people oh hey, we had this last year and it was fun, maybe show off some of the categories like avatar or screencap, something funny, and be like maybe next year you could be in the running too?

It's not even about the oscars necessarily. It's just about how little value is given to the users

We're told we have a say, we give that say, and then nothing happens. The only change that happened is we got to keep signatures after they were removed for no reason

It wasn't even a change it was the status quo

I can try and suggesting that, see how it goes

I do agree with you somewhat quid. Community is only tweeted about once a week I think? Not really a lot
