I think Himekawa had a great closure

And yeah I was meh on Mei but literally 90% of their dialogue is MEI/MEI CHAN

It was very open ended tho

Her plan was to reboot the whole digital world to get her digimon back

But her digimon forgot her too

So she killed it

And then died

Just shows her floundering in the dark ocean
