it's how I feel about KH1. KH1 was a huge part of my childhood. One of the first games I played, and also the first 3D game I played so I have a huge nostalgia bias for it

but no idea if I'd still like it if I played it for my first time nowadays

idk, I think I have a strong affinity with retro games. I did grow up with an SNES alongside a PS2, so I did have both sides of the coin there

I think if someone played that now and can't see that then excuse me to say but

there is someone I knew in a server I was once in who streamed their playthrough of KH1

Do people expect these games to have modern quality of life features? You can't let that taint an experience for you

More often than not its the cameras of these early 3d games that are awful and the lack of handholding through areas

the ports basically have modern quality of life features

KH1 isn't changed so much from the original in terms of gameplay

Skipping cutscenes is a big deal tho bizbless

FM changed the combat somewhat, it's a bit smoother with its abilities

original KH2 feels super different though

In sonic adventure or kh1

KH1's platforming is shat on way too much for how little you actually have to do it
