But it's really tough to get comic readers, especially casuals, to branch out like that

I haven't

And he got one spin off and one sequel because of the success

And he's still the writer on it

That's the kind of consistency I like to see

Bendis should stick to some new labels imo, and King should stick to elseworlds

King's Mister Miracle was a fantastic run

I still need to check out Strange Adventures

I think there are 2 issues out now

I dont understand how someone can write two things

One that I like and that I absolutely hate

I think the issue is who he's writing

And the worst part is, he and his fans are so arrogant about it

Yeah that's definitely a part of it

You have Batman who's this huge character

Then Mister Miracle who's more under the radar

You have more expectations on Batman than the other

My honest opinion?

I dont honestly mind he firetrucked up Batman

Because Batman has so much of an established character to him

Even in people that have never picked up a comic, it'll be easy to put him on the right course

I'm pissed off at what he did for the batfamily
