Ehhhhh. I disagree on that for a JRPG

See, that's a loose term to me

For an episodic title like this, I think it works out

A bunch of JRPGs are so different that length will be different too

To be honest. I'm pretty sure that every JRPG I've played has exceeded at least 40 hours

40 is the min average for all JRPGs

60 is standard

80 is high end

I mean, the last jrpg I playes was YS 8 and that took me around 28-30 hours in total

For base game story with minimal side questing

And I did almost everything in the game

It only took you 30?

I betcha most will still clock on 40-50

Either way, so long as the content of what the game does is good then length doesn't matter much

FF7R added a hell of a bunch of stuff to the story

Unless you're just speeding through the game and not taking much in

I mean, I haven't been speeding through and I just clocked 20 hours and I think I am at the endgame

plus you gotta remember the people that will take extra long cause they are remembering what the old one looked like to the new one

And new players will probably just roam around haha
