Well if it helps I only heard it recently too

Basically it's a uni policy, that whatever your current average is, doing assignments after a certain date (because of coronavirus) won't affect your score badly, but if you do better then the average will go up

And my uni isn't doing it because they're asses that love to see us suffer

Cancel exams? No
Postpone assignments? Up to the faculty so basically no
No detriment? Never

Is it only your uni that's like this?
