i never beat 1 though

I've tried 1, 4, D2, 3 and 5 and honestly could never learn how the mechanics worked. Tutorials were awful.

The way the tutorials are poorly written or just localized is a running theme in like 90% of NISA licensed games

But I don't think they do Disgaea

You can go inside the worlds of individual items which is cool, they just barely explain it. 3 had a mechanic with classroom votes that went barely explained as well

There's a mod on this youtuber's discord I used to be a part of. Was NicoB's server

And this mod is a huge ass fan of disgaea but was incredibly harrasing with it.

Borderline toxic. Kinda killed my interest in the games a bit more tbh

But since he's a mod, people obviously pay attention. He'd come out of nowhere and post pics of disagea gameplay and brag about how wild it is all the time

And ruin chains of interaction in the channel

Oh man speaking of that server, there's some real ace attorney toxicity there

I haven't been there in a while so hopefully things changed but I somehow doubt it, considering how much more popular NicoB has gotten

On that server, there were a fair amount of people who were adamant Ace Attorney elitsts

so I'm not really well versed in the Ace Attorney fandom all that much, but in NicoB's server, it became quite common to shit on the second trilogy of games

and now that I think about it, it's eerily similar to the Crossbell issue of the Falcom Community

AA isn't as bad thankfully, but it has some real weirdos in it
