Yeah, we are somehow living in the most emulation averse time

But also companies aren't rectifying it?

i really really hate those classic consoles

If you make things simple, people won't pirate

they seem almost pointless to me

almost makes me think that they just aren't even considering it and just saying no for making things easy or something

Honestly the ps1 classic felt like a slap

One of the mods of the rcpsc3 (w/e its called) basically said that from what they understand ps5 absolutely can run ps3 games, and making an emulator would not be significant hard work for sony

I feel like ps3 digital and physical games are most at risk of being lost

more so than PS1 and PS2

which is sad cause PS3 has a great collection

I'm sure I piss everyone off with the BC talk

But there's a point to be made that, Sony is totally capable of full BC, for not much effort at all. Ps3 would be the hardest and even then its very achievable

Yet we aren't having that, and I think if we don't get solid ps3 emulation now on a console, it will be SOOO long or never before we get a decent emulator

RCPS3 thankfully is getting constantly worked on

it's just a matter of game compatibility

And that's like a couple guys working on their free time
