I really really loved all of the character introductions because they all got me pretty invested.

but afterwards the investment felt kinda tossed

There wasn't really an overall story either, just separate stories

which again didnt happen in old style RPGs

not the notable ones at least

if anything BD does the better homage to the SNES JRPGs haha. but we'll leave that aside

I will say it was an interesting premise, but there's so much more they could have done

Octopath wins on design and music tho. man that was amazing

well BD has actual story

But yeah, whoever the team that did this at Square hopefully learned from their mistakes

i hope they bundle them and port to Steam and Switch one day

too bad octopath's getting a mobile sequel or some shit

well it's the same team as Bravely Default and Bravely Second and they are now working on Bravely Default II

im excited but slightly worried

the combat mostly. I know they'll take the surveys to heart but I realllly hope they dont try and make it feel more like Octopath meets BD and keep it more towards the formula that BD and BS already established

i doubt they'll change the way the combat works that drastically

The demo was pretty interesting to say the least

but yeah im very excited for more Bravely. they kill the job system, music, and overall story

i'm playing the legendary star ocean 5, no nintendo for me

I didn't use it at all

My nieces have used it more in a week than I did the last 3 months

I got the Alliance Alive on my plate right now lol
