It's just tiring to look at

Last night my hometown had a protest that popped off cause some fools decided that setting off fireworks and throwing a brick into a book store was a good idea

Yeah, this is nothing like anything that I could possibly say I relate to

I can only give sympathy which sucks

why is it always bookstores?

White nationalists have a tendency for it

I live in a tourist place with a bunch of old people

So, my assumption for the season is that nobody is gonna come, gonna be a dead season

Or, it's going to be hectic as all hell because people want to get away from it all.

But at the same point, rental properties havent been opened yet, and neither have hotels. So if they come its not like they can really stay

Mixture of covid lockdown and curfews I guess

I live in a commuter town to the capital

nah around here it's purely because covid. People talk about the riots and stuff, but we don't have any curfew or anything

Couple days ago I went out with my family to get some ice cream and I noticed about 4-6 police cars all heading in one direction but didn't think too much about it and then right outside the turning to my street I saw a bunch of undercover police and I don't know why I panicked but I panicked so hard and swerved into the nearest side road and was doing like 40 on 20 mph roads to get home

This was the same day as the protests here were happening, I guess I was just on edge

the main thing it's always hard for me to see is the general perspective on cops

Because in my old job, and even this one, I worked fairly hand in hand with cops, really just relying on them a lot for aid with stuff. So I generally had a high opinion of my cops, because they kept order when people came in the season and made everything hell

So it's kind of going from that perspective to whenever anything happens in the rest of the country, to having to sort of change my opinion to be like yeah that sucks, but damn I really don't want my cops to be put into all of that, cause mine are cool

I've only had mediocre to bad experiences myself

Oh well, I had jne good experience actually
