Basically you need two of them, plug one next to your living room router and put a lan into it

And a range extender plug in as well

I tried that and it was just a huge firetrucking hassle

It acts as another access point to connect to the router.

Would dip in and out and just cause a firetruckbunch of issues

And plug the other one next to wherever you want Internet, and run a lan cable from the adapter to your pc or whatever

Also, I like using cable too so I kinda needed the router for that

I've used it before and it worked out fine for me ah

And mess about with the settings there
