Games jumping from console to PC always brings its own league of issues

If the port is good, there's boundless toxicity towards console players that is basically endless and if the port is the bad, the developers and company as a whole get shat on

There will always be toxicity towards console players and vice versa, that's never gonna change

But the developer stuff sucks a lot, yeah

Tbh I always feel some sort of inward reluctance whenever a JRPG gets ported to pc

A bunch of people did end up with issues on P4G when it came to Steam

The thing is the people who do the ports should be blamed but most people just blame the company as a whole, especially with Japanese games where the main dev team doesn't work on the port

The character models was completely messed up

So it paints the whole franchise in a bad light if a port is bad.

i mean it's hard to figure out exactly who the porting company is because they aren't as advertised so I agree that sucks

Most common issue is cutscenes being all wonky for no reason, the character models being weird are rare. I dont see that one often.

I've seen it happen with Ys 8 where the pc port was awful and that turned off people from trying the games at all

Point is, there will always be issues making a game for PC cause of the amount of different optimizations for them

It's easier for a console like PS4 cause it's just one model that everyone has

The game was made for the Vita anyway, porting it to PC was bound to have issues.
