typically the baseline strat is to link opposite characters to each other. Like Alisa to Laura or yeah that works

opposite as in what they excel at in combat

like how alisa is an archer and laura is an upfront fighter

etc

since you can stagger various types of enemies that way

so you can get more link attacks
