I don't mind CGI, although my issue is that some of it is overused and doesn't look good in a few years

And yeah I agree Otti, Marvel and other film makers too, are using CGI too much and scenes that just don’t need it

Shazam used so so much practical effects

Was surprised that the crocodiles were actually costumes

Practical effects will always be remembered and talked about for being impressive whilst CGI can look outdated as technology advances

Look at SW original trilogy and prequels

The flying scenes are practical effects too which is really cool
