i figured i would watch it eventually

just i follow reviewers strictly to see if i should waste my money or not

and i only do this for movies i don't have a huge interest in.

Anyway, regardless of how inconsistent x men is, on the whole I enjoy it far more than MCU, and looking at the mcu formula I cannot see how the x men stories will be allowed to flourish there.

like high or low reviews.. if it's a movie i really wanna see. i will go see it regardless and get my own opinion

MCU has around 20+ films, and from what I've seen of them they're all incredibly similar. It's true Fox was almost x men's worse enemy at times but recently they'd been on a high, with some really great films in the works, and also even the worst films were never in a formula. The stories were all taken seriously within the films themselves with none of the forced levity seen in the mcu. The mcu has one style and if you're not a fan of it then there's nothing there for you. At least x men varied itself

i can agree with that, that MCU does have a certain feel to it. but to each their own, if you don't like it. you don't like it! but you are definitely in the minority on this one, an overall consensus is that MCU is great, even to non super hero fans. But i guess the same could be said about MCU when you say x-men started out rough but then the later films were better. But hey for your sake the MCU x-men live up to what you thought about the fox ones... but you may already have your mind made up wether they are great or not.

and yea. i personally love x-men! so i hope they are great as well! and to me, since i do love MCU i have high hopes and faith in them.

but it will def be hard to replace Jackman as wolverine..

they are going to need some Grade A casting
