I think people look at the past rather than the present in people too much.

Self reflection is something I spend a lot of time doing but more in the "whyyyyy quid" than of the "you could do it better like this"

I made my own mistakes I'm not proud of.

But at the end of the day I pick myself up and move on.

It's difficult to do, but I'm getting round to it

I think that's what makes a good person, really.

Realizing their faults and mistakes and using them to be better.

Someone who's aware of what they do to others or someone who's constantly trying to improve?

Ohhh gotcha

I'm not sure about picking myself up, more often than not it feels like I'm dragging myself

Better to pick up than fall down.

A bit of failure is good for a person

Healthy dose of rejection can do wonders

Though a personal motto of mine now in light of my changes has been: "To win is to lose, to lose is to win."

?, I have an idea on how I'd take that statement, but what do you take from it?

Sometimes, in order to be better we must go through loss. In that loss is where we find the necessary steps forward to gain the insight that we lacked before.

It can also mean another thing: Sometimes it's better to lose than to win, accepting the failure positively.

I definitely agree!

I think if it wasn't for my failures I wouldn't be here today

In the end, life to me is a story we write for ourselves. There's variables and all-sorts of unfortunate decisions that cannot be changed or altered.

We do what we can to be better.

To keep growing.

I don't really have a set of quotes or anything to live by, but when I was 15 my mum wrote a small note along the lines of "try and do well in your gcses" and I've still kept it to this day, I don't think she even remembers.

Life is ridiculous

what you get

But yeah, call me the firetrucking loremaster.
